Welcome to the Elfriede Guesthouse in Gerlos
Our family-run guesthouse is located in a sunny and quiet spot on the outskirts of Gerlos – at 1,250 m above sea level with a magnificent view of the Zillertal Alps. The cozy lounge or sun terrace invites you to linger, and you can recharge your batteries for each eventful day with a rich breakfast buffet.
In summer, hiking and biking trails start right outside the door, and in winter, the free ski bus takes you to the valley station of the Zillertal Arena in just a few minutes. Gerlos also offers an activity program for children and teenagers with "Family Aktiv" and "Arena Teenies".

Our house is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes on 200 km of marked hiking trails in 5 romantic side valleys or high up to the most beautiful peaks of our magnificent mountain world. Numerous leisure activities such as fishing, mountain biking, swimming, Arena Skyliner, climbing, and much more await you in and around Gerlos. With the guest card, you can use the hiking bus free of charge.

From summer 2025, our guests will enjoy unlimited and free rides on the Isskogelbahn in Gerlos and the Dorfbahn in Königsleiten with the mobile Zell-Gerlos TopCard and the Free Mountain Card. Simply go straight through the turnstile – no queuing, no ticket purchase. Start your summit adventure right away and experience the impressive mountain world up close!
Skiing fun in the Zillertal Arena
The Zillertal Arena ski area is only 3 km away and the free ski bus stops 150 m from the house. You can expect guaranteed snow with 143 km of slopes and 51 lifts. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, everyone will find skiing fun here. Gerlos also offers you the perfect winter vacation away from the ski slopes.
